Is a UKCP registered psychodrama psychotherapist and person-centred counsellor. Emma originally trained in theatre and has worked as a drama artist since 2000, with a range of individuals with diverse needs including: adults and young people with disabilities; looked after and accommodated young people; the elderly and the homeless.
Emma has led projects in addiction rehabilitation centres, prisons, young offenders’ institutes, schools and various mental health settings. She is passionate about combining her complimentary skills, and has co-created a unique form of Therapeutic Theatre – a combination of theatre, psychodrama and performance - with people who access mental health services. Emma has also created Living Theatre - a fusion of theatre, psycho-drama, and sociodrama, inspired and informed by Moreno's public sessions - in association with professional theatre productions at the Tron Theatre in Glasgow. She has her own private practice and runs psychodrama groups in Glasgow and Fife.
